Admission and Registration

Admission

All corporations engaged in the provision of independent financial advisory services including the selling of insurance/unit linked products are welcome to join the Association as a corporate member, founding corporate member (until end of December 2006), patron or honorary patron.

Internationally, the most accepted definition for an IFA is based on where the company derives its income from the financial advisory business. The IFAA council has therefore adopted a qualifying definition for membership that precludes: any company where over 50% of their total revenues are derived from one product supplier.
